Դե արի՜, անձրև, մաքրի՛ր տերևները մարդ-եռուզեռի բարձրացրած թոզից, Իրիկնամուտին շողերի հանդես բե՛ր հոգիներին քաղաքաբնակ, Թո՛ղ աշնան ոսկե զարդանկարին միախառնվի՛ կապույտը անբիծ, Թո՛ղ մայթաբնակ լուսամփոփները լույսով հեղեղե՛ն աշունը անտակ:
Եվ արահետի գետինը խոնավ թո՛ղ գերի քնքո՜ւշ աշնանաբույրով, Որ սիրահարների սրտերը փխրուն միաձույլ դարձնի վայրկյանին թաքուն, Դե արի՜, անձրև, լցրո՛ւ աշունը քո մանրակաթիլ, պաղ հրապույրով Եվ սառը ջրում թո՛ղ արտացոլվեն լուսամփոփների լույսերը անքուն:
Աշնան հեքիաթի երգեր թող հնչե՛ն շենք-շինությունների անտես բերանից,
Մուգ կապույտ հագած երկնակամարը լցվի՛ գույներով կանաչ ու դեղին,
Դե արի՜, անձրև, թող քաղաքը հին մի պահ կտրվի՛ կենցաղայինից,
