Մի՛ բանտարկիր իմ աշունը

Մի՛ բանտարկիր իմ աշունը
Մետաղալար քո արգելքով,
Մի՛ կաշկանդիր այն դեղինը,
Որ տանում եմ հոգուս բեռով:
Աշնան արև-ազատությո՜ւն
Եվ արբո՜ւնք եմ ուզում հևքով,
Իսկ դու կամաց սառեցնում ես
Իմ աշունը քո ձմեռով:

Շողին կարոտ զգայուն դողով
Հպվում եմ թաց ու վեհատեսք
Սոսիների տերևներին,
Մի՛ հեռացրու ինձ բաղձալի
Աշնանային արևների՜ց,
Քո ցրտաշունչ անսրտությամբ
Եվ քո սառը ընդհատակով
Մի՛ զրկիր ինձ վերևների՜ց:

Ես իմ ներսում հիմա ցո՜ղ եմ,
Որ կարոտ է աշնան տաքին,
Քո մետաղյա փշալարը
Աշուն քանդող նշաձո՛ղ է
Պարտադրանքի:
Հո՛ղ է, որում տերևները
Մեռնո՜ւմ են լուռ,
Ինչպես տեսիլ՝ մուրազներում,
Մի՛ զրկիր ինձ իմ աշունի՜ց,
Տերևի պես մի՛ թաղիր ինձ
Իմ բյուրեղյա՜ երազներում:

Որպես միակ, հավատարիմ,
Աշնան ընկեր,
Ընդունիր ինձ՝ ինչպես որ կամ,
Քո պաղ սրտում, հաստա՛տ գիտեմ՝
Ի՜նչ-որ մի տեղ,
Իմ անունով անկյո՛ւն ունես
Նվիրակա՜ն,
Անկյուն տաքո՜ւկ ու զարդարո՜ւն,
Մի՛ բանտարկիր իմ աշունը
Քո մե՜ծ սրտի ի՛մ անկյունում:

Don’t imprison my Autumn!

Don’t imprison my Autumn!
With your metal-wired barrier
Don’t enchain the yellow
Which I carry in me
With my soul’s load.
I want an Autumn sun-freedom
And a hardbreathing inebriation,
But You slowly frozen my Autumn
With your Winter.

With a sensitive shudder
That missed a sunshine
I touch the wet and magestic
Leaves of platanus,
Don’t detach me
From the Autumn lovely suns,
Don’t deprive me from tops of the sky
With your frozen heartlessness
And Your cold underground.

Now I am a dew inside me
That missed the Autumn warmth,
Your barbed wire is a bar of imposition
That destroys Autumn,
It is also a ground
In which leaves die in silence
Like a phantom in dreams,
Don’t bury me like a leave
In my pure dreamings.

As Your only, faithful Autumn friend
Accept me as I am
I know surely,
That somewhere in Your heart
You have a corner, named after my name
A warm and beautiful corner
Don’t imprison my Autumn
In my corner of Your big heart.
