Love to Woman, Girl is inspiring and giving Life. I do not imagine Life without this unique, beautiful, tender beings by whom there starts the Life and by whose Love We – Men, live, create, conquer, fight and even are ready to die for them. Woman’s Love elevates Man, it is tender and sweet-smelling like a Spring Snowdrop. Only when You really Love You realize who happy and strong, brave and inspired You are. There is no Life without Woman. Love and honor your Woman and tell Her She’s the One. Dear friends, it is my honor to introduce a new poem in Armenian, entitled “My fingers’ gliding”. This poem is dedicated to boundless love to women. When a Man loves a Woman, when he toches her, when his fingers touch her body, it seems that he owns the whole universe. “My fingers’ gliding” is a poem about that love and admiration to women. It is my pleasure also to offer you to listen to Bryan Adam’s heartbreaking song, entitled “Have You ever really Loved a Woman?”. Song’s lyrics in English and Russian. Respectfully, Arlen.

When I read for the firts time Your Gravatar info: “I love travelling, I love taking pictures of nature and I live my Life as if Everything is a Miracle… the beauty of God’s creation is undeniable! I’m a Romanian teacher, I enjoy reading and writing, I love doing sports, listening to music, walking, talking to people and everything that could make you smile even when life is not that easy. I love God and I’m thankful for everything… Life is a miracle and we should be greatful for that reason…” I understood that I was going to visit a very interesting blog with a unique blogger. Arlen, nice blog.
Love…well, I’ll keep my bitter feelings to myself, but appreciate your feelings as they seem more heartfelt than most. Thanks for visiting my blog.
I’m somewhat fascinated by seeing Armenian in print…can you tell me, for example, in this post title- how does Armenian indicate a question?
Firts of all thanks You so much for Your kind feedback, Jessica. Much appreciated!
What about the Armenian punctuation marks and how does Armenian indicate a question, I’ll say that insteed of the sign “?” we use “՞”. And in the post title this sign is on the word “սիրել (love)”. I hope I could answer to Your question, of course if I understood it properly.
Yes it does, thank you! And if you don’t mind one more, because it is very interesting (to me)- why is it on the word “love?” Is there a subtlety of meaning on one word over another? Does it have to be on a verb? And yet there are two verbs in the sentence…sorry if this is uninteresting to you, but I love nuance of expression, maybe love is the reason why we strive for exactitude and complexity in our various modes of speaking and writing…thank you again.
It’s OK Jessica 🙂 I’ll answer with pleasure. Better to say I’ll try to answer, cause there are many grammatical differences between Armenian and English. I’ll try to explain. In Armenian the sign “?” is usually noted on the verb. But we can change the place of the sign. Changing the place is changing the meaning of the question. If we put the sign “?” on verb “love” then we ask, if a person loved another person. If we put the sign on the word “ever”, then we try to find out if person loved “always”, “ever” or maybe did not love. If we note the sing on the word “Woman” then it means that you try to know if person loved a woman, maybe he loved a man. In this sentence we can note the sign only on two word “really” and “love. And about a very important thing. In Armenian we have a number of words that are called question words. Like in English: “why”, where”, “who”, “when”, etc. If there is a question word in the sentence then we suarely put the sign “?” on that word.
Jessica, I really do not know if I could explain properly. Hope You understood. Sorry for my English.
Arlen, Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. I find languages very interesting. In this case I have to say English seems very stiff in comparison with Armenian. But I suppose it is how we work our words and syntax that keep things interesting! Thanks again.
Jessica
