Հայի միտքը արդար է…

Հայի միտքը արդա՛ր է, հայի կամքը՝ աննկո՛ւն,
Հայի ուժը խելա՜ռ է, իսկ հավատա՜մքը՝ կանգո՛ւն,
Հայի հոգին բարի՜ է, հայի սիրտը՝ անաչա՜ռ,
Հայի վատը տարի՛ է, հայի լավը՝ դարի՜ չափ:

Հայի բախտը դժվար է, հայի դատը՝ գոյամա՛րտ,
Հայի խաչը նժար է, հայի կռի՜վը՝ անպա՛րտ,
Հայի տունը ամրոց է, հայի տաղանդը՝ կերտո՜ղ,
Հայը հայով՝ դպրո՛ց է, եկեղեցի՛ ամոքող:

Հայի աչքերը սե՜ր են, հայի լեզուն՝ տիեզե՜րք,
Հայ արևի լույսե՜րը հայի հողում՝ առատ բե՜րք,
Հայի երգը խրո՛խտ է, հայի պարը՝ լեռնակա՜ն,
Հայի ոսոխը ո՛րդ է՝ հայ ծառի մեջ պատմակա՛ն:

Հայի կերպը Աստծո՛ւց է, հայի ոգին՝ առաքյա՛լ,
Հայի վեպը հանգո՛ւյց է՝ կապող ներկա՛ ու անցյա՛լ,
Հայի կոչումը մա՛րդ է, հայ անունը՝ փառավո՜ր,
Հայի ճամփան անհարթ է, բայց հաղթակա՛ն կամարով:

For my foreign readers – Dear all, I have the honor to introduce to you my new poem written in Armenian and titled “The Armenian’s mind is fair…” (written by me on 16 April, 2016, late in the evening). As always I tried to translate the poem for all my foreign readers. The following is a literal (word for word) translation of the poem, trying to make the meaning of the poem more understandable and available for all. Armeninas are strong and anciant nation and this poem is a sincere and humble tribute to them.

The Armenian’s mind is fair…

The Armenian’s mind is fair, the Armenian’s are will is strong,
The Armenin’s power is mad and his faith is always standing,
The Armenian’s soul is kind, the Armenian’s heart is equitable,
The bad of an Armenian lasts a year while the good last a whole century.

The Armenin’s destiny is hard, the Armenin’s Cause is a struggle,
The Armenian’s Cross is like scales, the Armenian’s fight is invincible,
The Armenian’s home is a fortress, the Armenian’s talant is creative,
An Armeninan with another one is a school, assuaging and protecting church.

The Armenian’s eyes are love, the Armenian language is a universe,
The lights of the Armenian sun gives harvest in the Armenian land,
The Armenian’s song is brave and his dance is born from the mountains,
The enemy of the Armenian is a worm in the Armenian historical huge tree.

The Armenian’s look is given form God, the Armenian’s spirit is apostle,
The Armenian’s novel is like a connecting bridge between the past and the present,
Being an Armenian means to be a Human, the Armenian’s name is glorious,
The Armenian’s way is bumpy and hard, but with a victorious, Triumphal Arch.
