ԵՐԵՎԱՆՅԱՆ ՑՈՒՐՏ ՁՄԵՌՎԱ ԵՐԵԿՈՅԱՆ ՄՈՒԹԻ ՏԱԿ

Երևանյան ցուրտ ձմեռվա երեկոյան մութի տակ,
Իրար գրկած ծառերով լի այգու նեղլիկ ճեմուղով
Անցնում են իմ հուշերը վառ, ինձ էլ՝ տանում իրենց հետ,
Ինչպես կյանքի րոպեները՝ ինքնավստահ ու անսանձ:

Քայլում եմ լուռ ու ձյան վրա հետք եմ թողնում ես հստակ,
Հետք, որ ձյունե փաղաքշանք է այգու ձյունե փառուղով,
Հետք, որ սառած ծառերի մեջ գծում է նոր արահետ,
Ինչպես ձմռան մրրիկներն են ուղի գծում փառապանծ:

Երևանյան երեկոյի փաթիլազարդ այգու հետ
Իմ հոգին էլ օրորվում է ճոճանակում հուշերի,
Անցնում եմ ես խաղաղ դեմքով և նայում եմ ծառերին,
Որ իմ նման քանի-քանի՜ խորհողի են ուղեկցել:

Քանի-քանի՜ լուռ անցորդներ, իրենց դեմքով մտավետ,
Նայել են վեհ ծառերի մեջ երևացող լույսերին,
Ինչպես կյանքի րոպեները, խաբելով յուր տերերին,
Ձմռան ցրտից ու մտքերից ունայնություն են հունցել:

For my foreign readers – Dear all, I have the honor to introduce to you my new poem written in Armenian and titled “Under the evening darkness of Yerevan cold winter” (written by me on January 30, 2016). As always I tried to translate the poem for all my foreign readers. The following is a literal (word for word) translation of the poem, trying to make the meaning of the poem more understandable and available for all.

Under the evening darkness of Yerevan cold winter

Under the evening darkness of Yerevan cold winter,
Along the way with hugging each other trees
My memories are going taking me with them
Like the minutes of life that are opinionated and stubborn.

I am walking silent leaving confident trail on the snow
Trail, which is a tender hug on the snow pathway of the garden
Trail, which draws a new road through the frozen trees
Like the winter storms draw glorious roads.

With the snow flake decorated garden of Yerevan evening
My soul is wobbling in the swing of memories
I am walking with peaceful face, looking at the trees
Which have already accompanied so many thinkers like me.

So many silent passers-by, with their faces bringing thoughts
Have already looked at the light which is seen in through the tress
Like the minutes of life, which have tricked their owners
Kneading vanity from the winter cold and thoughts.
