In 1969, Ace Bourke and John Rendall, two Australians living in London, bought a lion cub in the exotic animal department of Harrods. Ilfracombre came Zoo, where a couple of lions had puppies. Christian, named as the lion, weighing 18 kg and proved to be a very intelligent animal and affectionate, both with people and with other animals. They encariñaron with the lion and the lion with them, so they grew up together as friends, until the citizens, authorities and neighbors John Ace and asked them to take the lion as it could be dangerous for the city.
