Սիրելի ընթերցողներ, ես սիրահարվել եմ դասական երաժշտությանը դեռ մանկուց: Եվ ահա կցանկանայի 2013 թվականը սկսել իմ բլոգում ահա այս գրառումով: Նրանք, ովքեր թռչել են «Ավստրիական ավիաուղիներ» ընկերության ինքնաթիռներով գիտեն, որ ամեն անգամ, երբ ինքնաթիռը վայրէջք է կատարում Վիեննայում ինքնաթիռի ներսում սկսում է հնչել Յոհան Շտրաուսի «Կապույտ Դանուբ» (կամ` «Գեղեցիկ կապույտ Դանուբի վրա» (գերմ. An der schönen blauen Donau)) վալսը: Սա շատ խորհրդանշական է, շատ հուզիչ ու տպավորիչ, քանի որ դու իսկապես ու անմիջապես քեզ զգում ես դասական երաժշտության կենտրոնում` Վիեննայում: Ամեն անգամ, երբ այցելում եմ Վիեննա այս հրաշալի երաժշտությունն ինձ հետ է` դեռ ինքնաթիռից սկսած: Ես այս վալսը շատ եմ սիրում: Եվ ահա որոշեցի կիսվել Ձեզ հետ այս հիասքանչ երաժշտությամբ` Անդրե Ռիուի կատարմամբ: Թող այս լավատեսական, բարի, խինդով ու էներգիայով լի հնչյունները ձեզ հետ լինեն ամբողջ տարվա ընթացքում` բերելով Ձեզ սեր, երջանկություն ու հիացմունք կյանքի ու բնության նկատմամբ:

Dear Readers, I have fallen in love with classical music since my childhood. And now I would like to start the year 2013 in my blog with this post. All those who have flown by the airplanes of the “Austrian Airlines” know that each time when the airplane sits down (lands) in Vienna there starts to sound a music inside the airplane. And the music is Johann Strauss’s “The Blue Danube” waltz (The Blue Danube is the common English title of An der schönen blauen Donau, Op. 314 (German for By the Beautiful Blue Danube)). That is very symbolic, very impressive and so touching as you really and immediately feel yourself in the center of the world classical music – in Vienna. Each time when I arrive in Vienna this amazing music is with me beginning from the airplane. I love this waltz very much. I decided to share this marvelous music (performed by Andre Rieu) with you. Let this positive, kind, joyful, energetic sounds be with you during the whole year bringing you love, happiness and admiration of life and nature.

I, too, have acquired a love for the classical. Not being strategically located to be entertained by live concerts, I am solely dependent upon the recorded versions. This is by far the best rendition I have heard. In my younger days of travel abroad, I did not get the opportunity to visit Vienna. Perhaps that will be a stop to be added to my “Desire List.”
